Park Champions Volunteer Opportunities at Half Moon Bay
The Park Champions volunteer program, sponsored by the California State Park Foundation, has cleared invasive plants out of several fields at Half Moon Bay State Beach. Now it’s time to replant the fields with native plants. All volunteers are welcome to help, including children under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We'll provide the tools, plants, gloves and snacks - just bring a filled water bottle and your green thumb.
You can register for these events on the Park Champions web site . Just click on the calendar date(s) you would like to attend. After you register, the California State Parks Foundation Park Champions program team will send follow-up emails with additional details about the event.
